Roll Mates 20" x 22" Foundation Paper Piecing Pattern, Instant Download
Soul mates? Nope, Roll Mates for life with this Dungeons and Dragons-themed wedding pattern! I designed this pattern for a bespoke wedding gift a happy couple in my husband’s DND group. The finished 20” x 22” block makes a fun wall hanging or quirky addition to a DND or boardgame quilt! This pattern is part of a DND-themed collection of FPP designs — next up is Dungeon Meowster!
The pattern is scrap– and fat-quarter friendly and there is a colouring page to choose your fabric and attach your swatches—you can even match the groom’s suit to his favourite D20 dice! The pattern is very detailed so there are a LOT of diagrams in this booklet to make the sewing process easier and more enjoyable. I recommend reading through the pattern booklet first before printing :-)
Difficulty level: This pattern is best suited to an experienced FPPer. There are a lot of small pieces and multiple sections that need to be aligned carefully but it is doable with a can-do attitude and methodical approach! This pattern has no Y-seams and requires only straight-line sewing (like all my patterns).

This pattern assumes prior basic knowledge of foundation paper piecing and does not include FPP instructions. There are many tutorials online and YouTube videos that teach the FPP process and I am happy to help you find them if needed.

Pattern is created on the industry standard US letter paper (8.5" x 11") and has been formatted so that it can be printed on A4 paper without issue as well.
